This committee is responsible for all activities listed below;
many of which are rich in tradition and keep First Lutheran the
small community school we all love. The chairperson in conjunction
with the help of room parent or parent volunteers would be responsible for set-up,
clean-up and soliciting refreshments from our school parents.
The above may be accomplished by participating themselves or by phoning
prospective parents. This is a great way to achieve your 10-hour parent
volunteer hours through evening hours.

This is a wonderful tradition, which is continued every other year.
All students invite their grandparents or special person to share their
day at school with them. All grandparents visit the classroom, attend
a special program and enjoy lunch together, which is served by parent
volunteers.
We need a chairperson to head up the event. Talents required are to plan
and prepare a meal for two hundred. Parent volunteers will help serve and shop.

Grandparents day will be held November 2007.
