Each Wednesday evening throughout the summer,
we will provide a sacred space for meditation and prayer
for all who seek it.
The service will be extremely spare in nature --
there will no be sermon, no announcements, no bulletins, no formal offering.
The sanctuary will be candlelit
as we sing psalmody from Taize and other sources,
reflect on scripture passages
and pray from The Book of Common Prayer.
The service will be punctuated with extended passages of vital silence.
Join others who long for peace as the summer sky fades and
we gather in the sanctuary to worship in community,
pray in silence and give thanks with our voices and hearts
for another day.
