Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML)
The LWML, also known as Lutheran Women in Mission, sponsors activities to interest a wide range of women members of our congregation. It was started in the early 1940's and slowly replaced the "Ladies' Aids" in the churches. It is a national, a regional and a local organization, which enables women to become a force in the church, able to support missions and missionaries. It utilizes the organizational and administrative talents of women and is the official women's organization of the Synod. All women church members are automatically members of LWML.

Guilds
Overview of the different guilds and opportunities for women of our congregation to
serve our Lord:
| Sonshine Guild - Send birthday greetings and cheer cards. |
| Hospitality Guild - Serve meals or refreshments for funerals or memorials, wedding receptions, and home meals in time of need. |
| Braille - Assemble Braille books for the blind or sight impaired. Currently not active as more helpers are needed. |
| Quilting - Meets the second Tuesday of each month at 9:30am in Smith Hall to cut squares, sew them together for quilt tops, "tie" the tops and bottoms together, sew the finishing edges to make beautiful quilts for distribution to Lutheran World Relief. |
| Mite Boxes - Distribute Mite boxes and monthly calendars of suggested prayers and contributions to gather our pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and bills that help spread God's Word and do His work in our Pacific Southwest District and National LWML. The Mite boxes are dedicated on the second Sunday of each month. |
| Fundraisers - "Out to Eat" nights, bake sales, boutiques. |
| Save! Save! Save! - Save canceled postage stamps and trim them to 1/4" around, Campbell Soup labels and other Campbell products. |
